First impression -MAC foundation and liquid lip

There are lots of new products coming out this January i was very excited about the MAC Retro matte liquid lipsticks.

I wanted to do a first impression on these and also the Pro long wear nourishing waterproof foundation which was new last year and I just bought in my MAC order yesterday! 😃

I’ve applied my makeup at 11am and will wear for as long as possible today.

I am wearing the colour NW20

Foundation close up

It felt quite thick when applied but blended on easily. The coverage was great and I didn’t need much concealer. It stayed sticky feeling for ages after application which I didn’t mind but you might want to set with some powder.

It’s meant to be water proof. I tested this by trickling some water on my face, it just ran off easily without moving the make which is a plus for a rainy day!

I got lots of comments on how flawless my foundation looked that day and was very happy myself.

The liquid lipstick was a silky smooth texture and the applicator was relatively easy to use. However concentration is needed when applying otherwise it could go everywhere.

I have the colour Divine – Divine

It dryed down very matte and stay on all day. I ate out for lunch and the lips stayed on. They were transfer resistant too. Only when I ate pasta in the evening which was a touch oily did it start to remove in the centre of my lip only.

It was easy to get off at night and didn’t dry out my lips. I managed to wear the Makeup for 11 hours in the end.

I would recommend both these products and will be buying some more lip colours soon.

Have you tried either of these?? What do you think??
